It was such a treat to interview chefs from across Virginia as part of a promotion for The Great American Recipe, now airing on PBS.

Their backgrounds were as diverse as their dishes, and they were happy to share recipes that had been handed down through generations. It’s a topic that combines some of my favorites: ancestry, travel and good food!
